A lot has happened so far in 2017 that we are excited to share:
Construction on our amenity village and model home park is well underway. Our model homes are being framed, sidewalks and trails are being shaped and paved, and trees from our tree farm are being planted throughout.
Infrastructure for our unprecedented Internet speed is also in the works. Conduit for our 10GB fiber has been laid into the ground, and in the coming weeks, the fiber itself will be installed as well. We are getting excited just thinking about how close we are to having the fastest Internet in the country.
Our elementary school, the Mary D. and F. Howard Walsh Elementary, is also well on its way and will open for the 2017-2018 school year. Zoned in the award-winning Aledo Independent School District and designed by VLK Architects, the school is surrounded by a green space of sports fields and playgrounds, with a neighborhood park just across the way. Inside, grades are divided into upper and lower levels for Kindergarten through Second Grade, and Third through Fifth Grade respectively, giving each stage of learning its own devoted space, a “campus within a campus” as it is being called. You can read here to learn more.
We’re happy to be sharing this exciting news with you and continuing to update you as we progress to opening. We look forward to seeing you soon!
