Walsh is located on I-30, twelve miles west of Fort Worth, Exit 1A to Walsh Ranch Parkway.
Walsh is in both Tarrant and Parker counties; but will be within the city limits of Fort Worth and will be serviced by its police and fire departments and utilities.

A PID, or Public Improvement District, is a defined geographical area created by City Council action to provide services and/or improvements by levying and collecting assessments on the property for public improvements and services.
Fort Worth Public Improvement District No. 16 was created on September 27, 2016 for the principal purpose of financing certain public improvements that specifically benefit the District property.
Annual assessments are to be billed and collected as a part of the property tax collection/assessment process and the initial assessment will be due and payable beginning January 31, 2018.
