Meet The First Home Builders of Walsh

At Walsh, we believe all well-established and long-lasting neighborhoods honor the past and create a unique future for the residents. We have worked hard to craft a neighborhood that is diverse and eclectic in architecture and design, pulling inspiration from the rich history and culture of Fort Worth. To help us carry out this vision, we have selected some of the best homebuilders in Texas for our first phase, which will consist of 580 homes.

We are pleased to announce the selected homebuilder partners for our neighborhood are David Weekley Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Highland Homes, and Village Homes.

In keeping with Walsh’s commitment to nature and preservation, these well-respected builders will design homes to complement the natural elevation changes and prairie landscape found throughout the property. Each home site will be unique in location…some will take advantage of the rolling hills and tree-lined creek beds, while others will offer spectacular views of downtown Fort Worth.

Because parks are one of the foundations of Walsh, the builders will create clusters of homes within a five-minute walk to the park it surrounds. Trails will provide safe and easy connectivity to neighboring parks as well as to Walsh Elementary school, Walsh Village and the nearby preserved natural areas.

“We studied the iconic neighborhoods of Fort Worth as inspiration for the home architectural style at Walsh and visited more than 35 communities across eight states to determine what works best in developing communities for today’s homebuyers,” said Jake Wagner, co-CEO of Republic Property Group. “Our builders bring a unique mix of local, regional and national character and expertise that will deliver on our vision to make Walsh the next great neighborhood of Fort Worth. We want to create a place that still feels relevant 100 years from now.”

Home sites range from around 3,850 square feet to just shy of an acre, offering Walsh residents an abundance of living options and price ranges. Model home construction will begin in November for our first phase. Additional builders for our initial phase, including high-end custom homebuilders, are currently being interviewed and will be announced in future months.
